Donny's Dogs is a Deaf-owned street food business with a clear point of view: bold flavors, no apologies, and packaging that earns a second look. The brief was to build an identity that felt as fun as the food — but that could survive being printed on a paper sleeve, splashed with mustard, and read from across a crowded fair lot.
I developed the complete brand identity from scratch: a custom wordmark with a hand-drawn quality, a tight color system that pops against any background, and packaging applications that hold up in the real-world chaos of food service. The mark works as a logo, a sticker, a sign, or a single-character icon when space is tight.
Designed with the Deaf community in mind from day one. Strong shapes, high contrast, and visual energy do the work — so the brand reads instantly, whether or not a customer can hear the order being called.
