Donny's Dogs is a Deaf-owned street food business with a clear point of view: bold flavors, no apologies, and packaging that earns a second look. The brief was to build an identity that felt as fun as the food, but that could survive being printed on a paper sleeve, splashed with mustard, and read from across a crowded fair lot.
I developed the complete brand identity from scratch: a custom wordmark with a hand-drawn quality, a tight color system that pops against any background, and packaging applications that hold up in the real-world chaos of food service. The mark can serve as a logo, a sticker, a sign, or a single-character icon when space is tight.
Designed with the Deaf community in mind from day one. Strong shapes, high contrast, and visual energy do the work so the brand reads instantly, whether or not a customer can hear the order being called.
